About the role:
The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the marketing team to build and maintain the Fund’s brand and online presence, and driving campaigns to increase the Fund’s audience and reach.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading the marketing team and managing the team on a weekly basis (team meetings and agendas, task delegation, etc.)
Attending weekly Directors’ meetings
Designing and boosting marketing campaigns during key periods e.g. recruitment, workshops and other internal events
Thinking of unique ways to promote the organisation, such as publishing articles on social media
Consistently managing and posting on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Assessing marketing analytics and reports
Expanding the Fund’s presence beyond social media to reach new audiences to support its growth
Collaborating with other departments to align marketing initiatives with overall goals
Building and maintaining relationships with other student clubs and organisations to expand the club's reach
Commitment level
Approximately 4-5 hours per week

Will require consistent effort throughout the semester and recruitment periods.
Desired Skills/Traits
A good communicator and ability to meet deadlines
Previous marketing experience and growing social media accounts is highly regarded, but not necessary
Use of Figma and Canva is highly regarded, but not necessary
Use of LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
Leadership experience within student teams is preferable

About the role:

Key Responsibilities include:
Working with the Marketing Director to achieve marketing outcomes
Creating graphics for recruitment, content to keep the student community engaged, or for any other purpose deemed appropriate by the Marketing Director
Consistently managing and posting on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Assessing marketing analytics and reports
Thinking of unique ways to promote the organisation, such as publishing articles on social media and building brand presence on other platforms when deemed beneficial to achieve marketing goals
building relationships with other student clubs and organisations for cross-promotion opportunities
Commitment level
Approximately 3-4 hours per week

The Photography Associate at MSMF supports the Marketing Director by capturing high-quality photographic content that showcases the Fund’s events, culture, and brand identity. This role focuses on producing professional visual assets that enhance MSMF’s digital presence and promotional materials, playing a vital role in shaping the organisation’s public image.
Key Responsibilities include:
Event Photography: Attend and photograph MSMF events such as workshops, networking nights, and internal initiatives to document key moments and highlight student engagement.
Content Editing: Edit and prepare photo sets for timely release across MSMF’s social media, website, and marketing platforms.
Visual Branding: Ensure that all photographic content aligns with MSMF’s brand guidelines and maintains a consistent, professional aesthetic.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the Marketing team to plan visual coverage of campaigns and contribute to brainstorming sessions for promotional content.
Media Management: Organise and maintain a digital archive of photography assets for ongoing and future use.
Commitment level:
Approximately 3-4 hours per week, depending on event scheduling

Event-heavy periods including networking events, flagship workshops, and promotional campaigns
Desired Skills/Traits
Strong photography skills with experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
Preferably owns a personal DSLR or mirrorless camera
Proficiency in editing software such as Lightroom or Photoshop
Creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through images
Ability to manage time effectively and meet content deadlines
Organisational skills for maintaining photo archives and consistent file delivery
Familiarity with visual branding and social media content needs

About the role:
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Fund’s overall operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, and supporting the Executive Team in driving MSMF’s strategic goals. This role involves maintaining team accountability, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the effective execution of initiatives across all portfolios.
Key Responsibilities include:
Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment across all departments
Supporting the Executive Team in implementing strategic objectives
Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams
Monitoring progress on ongoing projects and ensuring timely deliverables
Assisting in organizing general meetings, internal reviews, and reporting processes
Acting as a key point of contact for associates and directors for operational queries

The Events Director is responsible for planning, leading, and executing the Fund's key events, including both internally and externally-facing events.
Key Responsibilities include:
Attending weekly Directors' meetings
Overseeing the process of creating, planning, and running events from start to finish
Delivering an events calendar on a semester basis
Running internal-facing events: e.g. workshops, skill development sessions
Running external-facing events: e.g. Pitch Night
Establishing connections with industry professionals to expand the professional network available to attend and support events
Maintaining an adequate lead time in the administering of events (e.g. reaching out to the professional network 3-4 weeks in advance of events occurring)
Managing the events team on a weekly basis - weekly meetings and agendas, task delegation, project management, etc.
Facilitating and MC-ing events/workshops
Commitment level

The Partnerships Director is responsible for developing and taking ownership of MSMF's sponsorship strategy for external sponsorship and help the president maintain industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities include:
Attending weekly Directors' meetings
Establishing connections with industry professionals to secure sponsorships
Collaborating with the Events Director to identify sponsorship opportunities in relation to events
Developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors
Creating and implementing a sponsorship strategy to ensure long-term partnerships

The People & Culture Director is responsible for leading the P&C team in overlooking and maintaining internal human resources requirements, including – recruitment and onboarding of new members, maintaining MSMF’s culture through internal events and initiatives and writing internal policies
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading the P&C team and managing the team on a weekly basis (team meetings and agendas, task delegation, etc.)
Attending weekly Director meetings
Working collaboratively with the President, Vice-Presidents, and Directors from other portfolios
Organising recruitment drives prior to the start of semester, including screening and interviewing candidates, and onboarding new candidates
Organising Social Nights and supporting other internal events
Spearheading initiatives to improve the way MSMF members interact and work with each other, including internal policies.
Leading internal review and feedback processes

The IT Associate at MSMF supports the IT team in maintaining and enhancing the Fund’s technological infrastructure to ensure smooth digital and event operations. This role involves assisting with the setup of AV equipment for workshops and events, updating MSMF’s websites, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to members and staff.
Key Responsibilities include:
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment, websites, software, and hardware used by MSMF members and staff.
System Maintenance: Help maintain and update software, hardware, and network systems to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.
Resource Documentation: Maintain clear records of IT processes, system updates, troubleshooting guides, and AV setup instructions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technological needs and implement effective solutions.
Commitment level:
Approximately 3-4 hours per week, flexible depending on event schedules and technical demands

Consistent involvement throughout the year, with increased activity during major events, workshops, and website update cycles

Basic to intermediate knowledge of AV equipment setup and troubleshooting
